MAN those credits were brutal... but there you have it! For Honor concluded!
The delay on the review has allowed me to complete a second Rantin' & Raven script. (I know! SO exciting!) And may even allow for another script to be completed for another show too. I'll see what I can do about that. Filming should be able to begin in the next couple days constructing the panels shouldn't take too long. I know the editing is going to be a nightmare though, as the first one took a TON more editing than even a regular Game Knight Episode. But with the new setup it goes MUCH faster than before. The second game for the month will be here on the 28th, so filming of that will ALSO begin. Though THAT one may take a while. (Gee, wonder what major release is coming out on the 28th!) After that one, I'm trying to decide on what to focus on. FFVII DEFINITELY needs to be bumped up in priority. There's three more episodes that just need edited, with 15 more scripted, and 14 more planned. (Yup, RPGS make for LONG series.) There's a few other things I might begin working on too. We shall see!

Though I will also tell you that we can add Pusher Music to the copyright companies that will claim an entire 37 minute, 48 second video for less than a minute of music. I've decided to leave it up this time though because the video will hopefully bring people to the channel, the cinematic IS quite good, AND there's going to be about 18 videos of this anyway. So, I'll leave it in there. It's not like I'll be getting more than a cent or two for the video anyway. Still, not cool guys, not cool. One Year and Three Episodes of FFVII!

Wow! I managed edit that one in record time!
I've noticed that the FFVII episodes thus far are a bit light on my antics. After the currently filmed episodes are through, I'm gonna try and load more into future episodes. (The last episode in particular I already know is gonna be rant heavy...) It's just weird how the Mega Man X episodes were more packed. Though I suppose it makes sense with the nature of Action Game vs. RPG. I've also decided to cut out a MAJOR amount of wandering and fights. This episode for example was an hour and a half before I cut it down. I just find a lot of the random encounters boring, so unless I specifically commented on them, I figured it'd just be easier to chop 'em all out.
In other news, we are officially on the One Year Anniversary of the RKI Youtube Channel! Woo! Here's to another decade or two!
I thought about doing something special, but couldn't work it out in time. But next year we'll definitely celebrate! (With hopefully you, dear reader and hundreds more!)

OMG RKI Updates!
Well! Been a while, hasn't it? No worries, RKI is not dead! However, life issues arose and forced attention elsewhere for a while. But, RKI is on its way back!
The Studio is almost set back up. And so, filming can resume soon. Editing, scripting and such will also resume along with it. (Episode 3 of FFVII, RKI Radio Theatre in Editing. Flick Flap, FFVII, Writing in Geek, State of the Union with ATM in Scripting.)
The good news is that there's several more Just Play! episodes in the pipeline. Which will not take very long at all! I want to focus on new release games for the most part (TWO big new releases this month will be highlighted and Reviewed... If you can guess which two those will be.) but I'm trying to figure out ways to incorporate older games too, since there's very little income to, ya know, PAY for new games. I'm just not sure how receptive you folks out there would be to games months, years or even decades old. Though to vary it up a bit, I'm considering adding an "endless" Just Play! series in there like Minecraft. But we'll see on that. There may also be a few "Challenge Run" episodes too for games I've played before, since fresh plays are more of the point of the series. (Can ya tell I've been thinking about the Just Play! series the most?)
Obviously, given the delays in Game Knight FFVII, the following series and episode of Collecting Game look to be a ways off. (For a small tease, we're going back to 1990 for that one...)
State of the Union with ATM is proving difficult in the scripting phase as there's PLENTY of topics to cover (With more arising every day...) but forming them into the format of the show is proving difficult. (How do you solve issues by passing a law or whatnot? Or conversely, remove a law. How do you place it within an "educational" factual context? Etc. Etc. ) I have two other series with ATM in mind as well, but those are kinda on the back burner for the moment.
There is a brand new series in planning too, but as I'm still trying to figure out the style, that one could take a bit, but I'm looking forward to digging into it.
With all this other stuff in the works, don't expect a new Rantin' & Raven any time soon. But hey, if you guys want my opinion on some random subject, feel free to recommend it over on YouTube, in the comments here, on Twitter, facebook, or even the official RKI email address! It may just inspire me to write up a long ass ramble for ya. (Exciting, I know!)
But, I just thought you guys would like to have a update and be assured more content is coming!
